Technical connection data is processed when you access a page. This may include your IP address, the time and requested URL, and browser and device information. The data is used to deliver the site, keep it stable, investigate errors and prevent attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in operating a secure website. Log data is deleted when no longer needed for these purposes, unless a legal obligation requires longer retention.

For reservations and related enquiries, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR; for other enquiries, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We retain messages only as long as needed for the enquiry or applicable legal duties. There is no contact form on this site.
The WhatsApp link opens a service outside our website. A connection to WhatsApp is made only when you select the link. WhatsApp's own privacy information then applies. You can contact us by phone or email instead.
4. Online bookings with easybooking
Our direct booking form is provided by easybooking, a service of zadego GmbH, Sparkassenplatz 2, 6020 Innsbruck, Austria. Opening the booking page loads content from easybooking and sends technical connection data, including your IP address, to that provider. The booking integration also loads a JavaScript library from code.jquery.com, which receives technical connection data when the booking page is opened.
If you enquire or book, we process the details you enter, such as name, contact details, travel dates, number of guests, requests and, where applicable, invoice or payment details. This serves availability checks, reservations and contract performance under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Reporting, tax and retention duties may require processing under Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR. Booking data is kept as long as required for the stay and relevant legal obligations. easybooking processes data for us as part of our hotel software. Its booking form links to a separate privacy policy with more information about data processing. You may also contact us directly to book.
5. Google Analytics 4 and your choice
We load Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-MWTR2EC9HX) only after you actively select “Allow statistics”. Its provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. We use it to understand visits and page views and improve the website. Data may include page URL, time, browser and device details, approximate location and online identifiers. Google Analytics may set cookies such as “_ga” and “_ga_…”. Google may process data outside the EU. See Google's privacy policy.
In our Google Analytics property, event data is retained for 2 months and user data for 14 months. The user-data retention period resets when a user is active again. These settings apply to user-level and event-level data; standard aggregated reports are not affected.
The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG. Without your consent, we do not load Google Analytics. You can change your choice and withdraw consent for the future via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of each page. Processing that already occurred is unaffected. Statistics are additionally disabled on the private preview address.
6. Storing your choice
We store your statistics choice in your browser's local storage (key “cityHotelAnalyticsConsent”) so that we do not have to ask on every page. The entry remains until you delete it in your browser or change your choice via “Cookie settings”. This is necessary to respect your choice (Section 25(2) TDDDG; Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The easybooking form may use its own cookies or similar technologies.
7. Map and external links
The map on “Arrival & contact” loads from OpenStreetMap only after you select “Load map”. Your browser then connects to OpenStreetMap and sends technical connection data, including your IP address. The address remains visible without loading the map. Direction links open Google Maps in a new window; the WhatsApp link opens that service. The external providers' privacy notices apply to those services.
8. Your rights
Subject to the GDPR, you have rights of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). You may object to processing based on legitimate interests under Art. 21 GDPR. You may withdraw consent for the future at any time. Please contact us using the details above.
